U.S. made final antidumping determination in the antidumping investigation on Chinese steel thread rod

On Feb 23rd 2009, the United States Department of Commerce (DOC) has released its final determination on steel threaded rods imported from China. It judged that the dumping of steel threaded rods imported from related Chinese defending enterprises exists. The antidumping duties on RMB Fasteners Ltd./ IFI & Morgan Ltd./ Jiaxing Brother Fastener Co., Ltd. are 55.16%; Ningbo Yingzhou Foreign Trade Co., Ltd. and Ningbo Daxie Chuofeng Industrial Development Co., Ltd. got a punitive antidumping duty 206% because they did not provide related information recognized by DOC; 9 defending enterprises got 55.16%; 206% on the not defending enterprises. United States International Trade Commission (USITC) will make the final determination on whether Chinese exports had caused damage to U. S. industry by Apr 8th 2009. If there exists damage, U. S. customs will impose antidumping duties according to the above dumping margin.
