450 companies attend Interwire and IFE (International Fastener & Precision Formed Parts Manufacturing Exposition and Conference)

The latest issue of CFDs 2009 Plus appear at International Exposition (I-X) Center, Cleveland, Ohio, USA

Held once in two years, Interwire and IFE (International Fastener & Precision Formed Parts Expo) are held at International Exposition Center, Cleveland, Ohio, USA in 27-30 April, 2009. It’s learned that Interwire is a wire and cable trade fair with the largest scale and longest duration in the Americas. In 2009 Interwire, there are 395 exhibitors. IFE is the only machinery and equipment expo with focus on fastener and precision formed parts in the Americas. In 2009 IFE, there are 55 exhibitors, including European and American fastener and equipment enterprises, such as Carlo Salvi SpA, SACMA Machinery Corp., etc. from Italy, and Taiwanese enterprises, such as JAGULAR Industry Ltd., Ching Chan Machinery Co., Ltd., Gem International Co., Ltd., etc. The organizer of the expo said frankly that owing to the global financial crisis which leads to the economic downturn, General Motor Corporation, Ford and Chrysler which are the big three American automakers, are now in stuck and decrease their purchase of auto parts. In this session, the number of exhibitors goes down a little compared with that in the last session. However, the organizer arranges thoughtful service and colorful activities to promote communication and development of the industry.
