On March 20, 2009, Suzhou Tianlong Group(P3) successfully started the new project and held the celebration of its 20th anniversary.

The unveiling ceremony started at 8:25 am at Suzhou Tianlong Company, Changjiang Road, Suzhou Province, unveiled by the chairmen of China Minmetals Corporation and China Aerospace Science & Industry Corp. After that, all the guests drove to the new plant to attend the ground breaking ceremony. Chairman of Lianlong Fang Gang delivered a speech. The activity was so grand that Suzhou government also gave great support and care, and took part in the event.

At 11:30 am, Shangri-La Hotel, with all the guests being seated, Chairman Fang opened the anniversary with his welcoming message. Also General Manager Qian Daming reviewed the 20 years of its development:

2009 is an important year for Tianlong, as if a bridge connecting the past and the second take-off. Backed by the government’s favorable policy and supported by China Aerospace Science & Industry Corp. and China Minmetals, Tianlong Group decided to optimize and reorganize its assets by setting its headquarter in Suzhou and forming Suzhou Tianlong Group after the prudent discussion by the board of directors. And they also plan to spend another 280 million yuan in developing top-end fasteners for aerospace and military, and further expand the production of base in Suzhou and Shanghai international trading base. It is expected that Tianlong will reach an annual sales of 1 billion yuan when the new project is completed, getting ready for the entry into stock market and laying a solid foundation for the 5-billionyuan sales target in ten years.
