    Integrate the sources, develop new markets

    "For me, there is no boundary between domestic sales and export. We do business in suitable markets wherever they are. We do not divide it on purpose,” said Ma. Affected by lots of factors like antidumping from EU, the sales of Shanghai Chunri in 2009 dropped 40% year-on-year. As a result, the company is inclined to avoid the EU market at present and tries to develop markets in domestic, Russia, Africa and Southeast Asia. According to the specific methods, Ma referred to a hidden rule in developing domestic market -- social relationship. Based on the high reputation and complete QC system, Shanghai Chunri has been popular among domestic and overseas clients since it was founded. Thus, Chunri has a lot of social resources. The company will integrate all the resources it has, including technique, capital and human resources. Then the company will use all the available resources to progress a deep exploration. Meanwhile, the company will make use of trade shows and other opportunities actively to meet more industrial people and develop new markets.

    Though the sales forecast of 2009 is not optimistic, Ma is still confident of moving forward. Moreover, he estimates that the 4,000 billion investment plan launched by the government would benefit the company in the second half of the year.
