M-Tech--the 13th Mechanical Components & Materials Technology Expo was opened in Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo, Japan on June 24, 2009. The moderate rain on day 1 could not stop visitors’ enthusiasm.



M-Tech has been successfully organized by Reed Exhibitions Japan Ltd. for 12 years, with M-Tech Tokyo in June and M-Tech Osaka in October every year. M-Tech is the largest trade show for mechanical components, materials, moulds and auxiliary equipment in Japan and even in Asia. This year it attracts about 650 exhibitors. The 20th Design Engineering & Manufacturing Solutions Expo also takes place at the same time, including about 350 exhibitors. About 100 fastener exhibitors attend the trade show, mostly from Japan and 9 from Chinese mainland, 4 from Taiwan, some from Korea (delegation), 1 from Vietnam and so on.



China Fastener Info also distributes CFDs to visitors and invites them to attend the 2nd Fastener Trade Show. It is learned that many Japanese enterprises worry about the quality of fasteners made in China, so they have not imported any fasteners from China. However, when they got to know that there are a batch of Chinese fastener enterprises with good quality and reputation emerging in China, they said that they would go to China for market research and consider the import plan from China.
