Bolts, cap screws and nuts produced as an OEM specific part number for any automobile as defined in 49 U.S.C. Section 32901(a)(3), any work truck as defined in 49 U.S.C. Section 32901(a)(19) or any medium duty passenger vehicle as defined in 40 C.F.R. Section 86.1803-01(2009).
Aircraft bolts, cap screws and nuts produced for any aircraft as defined in 14 C.F.R. Section 1.1 (2009).
Carriage bolts and track bolts along with socket screws are all excluded. Stainless steel fasteners were never in the Nucor petition.
The next key date is November 9, 2009 when the USITC announces their preliminary injury judgments. Then one week later, remember the Fastener Forum at the National Industrial Fastener Show on Monday November 16th at 4:00 at Mandalay Bay Hotel.
