The Korea Metal Week 2009 kicked off in the KINTEX (Korean International Exhibition Center) at 11:00 a.m. on October 27th together with the Tool Tech 2009 and the Korean Machinery Fair. According to the organizers—Korean Trade Fairs Ltd and Korea Federation of Fasteners Industry Cooperative, industrial professionals concerned can greatly benefit from the synergy effect by the simultaneous opening of the above 3 big exhibitions since 2005, and can save lots of time and effort.

China Fastener Info, as one of the supporting media, attended this exhibition, distributed the latest China Fastener Directory 2010, and talked with Korean manufacturers and purchasers face to face.

Started in 1989, Korea Metal Week is held biennially. There are about 240 exhibiting companies this year with product categories involving Fastener & Wire (12th, 97 exhibiting companies), Foundry Forging & Furnace (11th, 19 exhibiting companies), Cable & Tube Pipe (12th, 12 exhibiting companies ), Die Casting (7th, 35 exhibiting companies), Machine Parts & Mold Manufacturing (5th, 71 exhibiting companies) and 6 Media companies. Most of the exhibiting companies are local. 25 of them are from China mainland including Shanghai Jing Yang Fastener Co., Ltd., Jiaxing Xinyue Standard Part Co., Ltd., Haiyan Yuxing Nuts Co., Ltd., Jiashan Yongxin Fastener Co., Ltd., Cixi Mengyi Standard Parts Co., Ltd., Haiyan Da Mei Yi Standard Fasteners Co., Ltd., etc. Other exhibiting companies are from Japan, Germany, Spain, the USA, Australia, China Hong Kong, China Taiwan, Switzerland, Thailand, Indonesia, Mexico, Malaysia, Italy, UK and Israel. Similarly, many visitors are Korean.
