On 17 November, the 39th Midest Paris (Midest) 2009 organized by Reed Expositions France opened in Paris at Paris Nord-Villepinte Exhibition. According to the survey, there are more than 1700 exhibiting companies, 700 of which are from other 30 foreign countries.

As stated by the organizer Reed Expositions France, this exhibition supported by French Fastener Manufacturer Association, first launched the idea of “European Fastener Village”, a right manifestation of?Europe's high-quality special parts and its state-of-the-art technology. With regard to visitors, most of them are local visitors; others are from Spain, Belgium, Morocco, Poland, and the like European countries.
